All bedrooms are well appointed and have central heating, Beverage tray, TV, most are en-suite. The bedrooms at the front of the house have stunning views over the river and waterfall, those at the side of the house overlook the mountains and River Llugwy - a wonderful sight to wake up to!

Breakfast

A hearty cooked breakfast is served in the Guest Dining Room between 8:30 and 9:00am.

Guests are asked to order their Breakfast the night before so that all cooked food can be freshly cooked in the morning.
The following is typically available for Breakfast:
  • Tea, Coffee (decaffinated on request)
  • Fruit Juice - Usually Orange & Apple
  • Cereal - Usually Cornflakes, Weetabix & Muesli
  • Toast with Jam and Marmalade
  • Cooked Breakfast
    • Sausages (Vegetarian available)
    • Bacon
    • Eggs - Fried or Scrambled
    • Grilled Tomatoes
    • Baked Beans
    • Fried Bread
Check-In / Departure time

Rooms are normally available for occupation from 4:00pm on the day of your arrival.

Guests who arrive earlier than 4:00pm may access their room as soon as it has been serviced and made ready for occupation. If guests arrive early and the room is not ready we can take your bags and store them so that you can begin to explore the village and enjoy your break.

You will be asked your expected arrival time upon making your reservation. It is important that we are informed of any changes to your expected arrival times in advance of the notified time! It is not usually a problem to arrive at another time so long as you have notified us in advance and your arrival isn’t very late. However, if you have not arrived by the time given and have not contacted us to inform us of your delay then we cannot guarantee your reservation will be available once you arrive.
We understand that Guests from overseas may be quite unsure of their journey times and may not have access to a phone to keep us informed of their progress. In this situation we ask you to outline when, where and how you will be travelling to Betws-y-Coed so that we may be aware of you being caught in any major road or train delays.

Our standard departure time is 10:00am.
Parking & Motorbike / Bicycle Storage
  • A single Car parking space per Guest Room is available in our Private Car Park.
  • We have limited Motorbike and Bicycle storage available.
    Please let us know at the time of booking if this is required.

  • Children aged 10 years or over are welcome at Bryn Afon. Unfortunately our accommodation is not suitable for children under 10.
  • Advance reservations will normally only be accepted for a minimum of 2 nights stay.
  • Bank Holiday Bookings will normally be only accepted for a minimum of 3 nights stay.
  • Easter Weekend Bookings will normally only be accepted for a minimum of 4 nights stay.
  • Single Occupancy Bed & Breakfast is available in all rooms at the room rate less £5.00 (less £10.00 for room No.4)
