Bryn Afon Guest House - Reservation Terms

Deposit & Balance Payment

All prices are per room, per night and include breakfast. All prices include VAT/local taxes.

A non-refundable deposit equivalent to the cost of the first nights stay may be required in advance (via Paypal 2% fee). Alternatively your address may be verified against a debit or credit card with payment made by Cash or Pound Sterling Travellers Cheques departure. As all deposits are non-refundable we will not refund any deposit where we are able to meet our obligation of providing Bed and Breakfast on the agreed dates. With this in mind, we recommend guests consider a Travel Insurance Policy prior to making a reservation.

The balance of the reservation cost is payable by cash or Pound Sterling Travellers Cheques at the time of check out.

Cancellation and non-arrival

Reservations made after 17th January 2010

  • Cancellation of room(s) more than 72 hours in advance of the check-in date will incur a cancellation fee equlivilent to the cost of the first nights stay for each room cancelled.
  • Cancellation of room(s) within 72 hours of the check-in date will incur a cancellation fee equlivilent to the cost of the first nights stay for each room cancelled, plus the remainder of the balance of the total cost of the original reservation less any amount we are able to receive by re-letting the room(s).
  • Guests not arriving by the agreed check-in date and time without prior notification of cancellation or late arrival will incur a charge equivalent to the cost of the outstanding balance of the original reservation, regardless of whether room(s) are re-let for any dates during the original reservation period.
Reservations made prior to 18th January 2010
  • Cancellation of room(s) more than 72 hours in advance of the check-in date will not be refunded any deposit paid as these were non-refundable.
  • Cancellation of room(s) within 72 hours of the check-in date will not be refunded any deposit paid as these were non-refundable. Additionally the remainder of the balance of the total cost of the original reservation less any amount we are able to receive by re-letting the room(s) will be charged.
  • Guests not arriving by the agreed check-in date and time without prior notification of cancellation or late arrival will not be refunded any deposit paid as these were non-refundable. Additionally the outstanding balance of the original reservation, regardless of whether room(s) are re-let for any dates during the original reservation period will be charged.

Reservation Confirmation
We recommend you do not travel until you have received a Final Reservation Confirmation email or letter from Bryn Afon Guest House.

Please note that a Provisional Reservation Confirmation email does not mean that your reservation is complete and should not be relied upon as a guarantee that accommodation will be available for you.

Children
Bryn Afon Guest House is not suitable accommodation for children under 10 years of age and therefore children under 10 years of age will not be accommodated under any circumstances.

By completing a reservation enquiry you automatically imply that any children will be at least 10 years old prior to the reservation check-in date.
