B&B at Bryn Afon
You will find a warm welcome at Bryn Afon. Bryn Afon is a traditional elegant Victorian
stone built house full of character and charm. In the heart of Betws-y-Coed in the
picturesque Snowdonia national park, the house is on the banks of the river Llugwy
overlooking the Pont y Pair Bridge where salmon jump the waterfalls. The house is
tastefully furnished with all modern facilities and your hosts ensure a high standard
of service in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
A garden is by the river for guests to sit and relax and enjoy the impressive views
of the river and falls. Other facilities for guests include car parking, locked
storage for mountain bikes, and free wi-fi.
All bedrooms are en-suite or have private facilities; all rooms are well appointed
having central heating, TV, hairdryer and beverage tray. The bedrooms at the front
of the house have stunning views over the river and waterfall; most of those at
the side of the house overlook the mountains and the river - a wonderful sight to
wake up to!
Most diets are catered for with prior notice. A hearty traditional Cooked Breakfast
is served in the dining room.

Breakfast
We take care over our breakfasts with the aim of setting you up for the rest of
the day so you can enjoy the delights of what North Wales has to offer.
The main breakfast really starts from 8am through to 9am. However we do appreciate
that sometimes you may want to get up and out early to crack on with the day or
you may be early risers. If this is the case, then just let us know the night before
so we can make sure that cereals, fruit salad and juices are laid out, and hot drinks
are ready for you. And if it’s not too early, then we’re happy to serve you a bacon
sandwich or scrambled eggs on toast.
We’ve taken time to source our breakfast ingredients because we love our food, we
believe it is important to support local businesses as well as Fairtrade, and above
all we want to offer you a good breakfast!
Our sausages and bacon are from the local butchers, and our organic eggs are from
the local farm and are Soil Association approved. The delicious yogurts are from
a local dairy and we make our own granola and fresh fruit salad.
We look forward to greeting you in the morning with freshly brewed coffee and with
a range of teas for you to choose from.
